Because of the growth in volume, as well as the increase in the number of branches or stock points, Altac asked Groenewout the following question: How can we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain operation in the short term, within the existing frameworks of the IT landscape.
Solution
Groenewout supported Altac’s project “From Logistics to Supply Chain”.
The project consisted of 7 phases in which goals, organizational and process demands were defined, current processes were mapped and a risk and opportunity analysis was conducted.
During the last two phases a TO-BE supply chain model was defined and improvements were implemented and secured where necessary.
