Support Logistic Optimization​

NIBE Energietechniek is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swedish NIBE AB, a group operating in Europe and the USA, with a turnover of approximately 2 billion Euros.  From its NL-headquarter in Oosterhout, NIBE focuses on delivering energy-efficient comfort in heating, cooling, domestic hot water and ventilation to the Dutch and Belgian markets. As European market leader in the field of heat pumps, NIBE is the partner for the Dutch and Belgian market.  In recent years, NIBE NL has fulfilled its ambition to grow rapidly.​

Opportunities

In 2019, Groenewout identified (through an assessment) opportunities to improve logistics performance and eliminate bottlenecks.

Since then, support has been provided in implementing improvements. The most concrete result is the outsourcing of the small parts operation and the professionalization of the relationship with the logistics service provider that now performs both large items and small parts (GVT).

Other elements of the so-called “Supply Chain – Service Level Optimization” program was the introduction of EDI communication with main customers and the logistics service provider. The contribution of Groenewout to this program has been finalized in July 2024.

Groenewout provided a project manager for implementation support to optimize the logistics operation.
