Germain Ghys

Germain Ghys has been senior consultant in the Groenewout team since April 2026. He holds a master degree in Production Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering from Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp.

Germain has gained extensive experience in Operations and Project Management during his career. He was involved in several retrofit projects and integration projects of sorting, AGV and conveyor solutions. He has previously worked as a Senior Project Manager Engineering at VF Corporation where he realized the extension of the European distribution centre to double the storage capacity and integrated the possibility for future expansions on picking, shipping and packing for retail and e-commerce.

Based on his expertise, Germain will focus on concepts of mechanisation, automation and retrofitting projects.
