Expansion of the Decowraps DC in Aalsmeer
Decowraps has once again enlisted Groenewout’s logistics expertise to expand its distribution center in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. The partnership dates back to 2017, when Groenewout and VDR Bouwgroep were involved in the initial construction of the Decowraps distribution center.
In this latest expansion project, Groenewout’s role consisted of preparing the Program of Requirements and the preliminary design, and supporting price and other contractual negotiations with VDR Bouwgroep based on the Design & Build construction team. In addition, Groenewout monitored the further progress of the design, up to and including the permits and construction documents. During the realization phase, Groenewout acted as a sounding board, supervised the construction process, and took care of the final delivery on completion.
