Process design order to cash Small Office Home Office customers

UPC Netherlands is the 2nd largest cable television operator in the Netherlands. UPC Netherlands provides digital & analog cable video, broadband internet, and digital telephony (VoIP) services to 3.7 million service subscribers (RGUs) represented by 1.8 million customers.

UPC Netherlands business wanted to intensify their market share on the Small Office Home Office (SOHO) Market. This was done by using a different product range and delivery platform. The related process had to be (re)-designed to fit the SOHO requirements.

All SOHO requirements were listed and ranked in essential, required and nice to have. In addition a process walkthrough was done documenting the processes. For all the essential requirements a solution was provided either by having a final process in place or providing a workaround at the planned go-live date. For the remaining essential requirements that were not covered at the start a plan of approach with time lines was set-up.

Clear list of all the requirements needed to roll out the SOHO products. Having a solution for all essential requirements in place allowing start-up of the roll out. And have clear visibility including priorities on the work to be done.
