    Business Case High-Speed Service Train Fyra: How to optimize the logistic support system

    Since the introduction of the high-speed service Fyra (the direct train connection between The Hague and Brussels) on December 9 2012, the Fyra service has been set with technical malfunctions leading to delays and cancellations. In 2012, Groenewout conducted a research on how to optimize the Logistic Support System of the Fyra to reduce the downtime. The research indicated that the Life Cycle Cost of the Fyra could be reduced with more than 50%.
